I hatch bbs in a jug using kosher salt and an air stone. A turkey baster and a paper coffee filter are recommended accessories.
The eggs should hatch in about 24 hours at about 80 dg F (longer in cooler water). To feed, turn off the air stone and wait a couple of minutes, the shrimp go down and the shells float up. Us the baster to get the bbs out, use the coffee filter to strain them out of the sw and feed away.
One note- bbs lose their nutritional value in about 24 hours, so you need to hatch new ones continuously.I use a two jug system and start them 24 hours apart.
