I woke up this morning and went to feed my fish and noticed dozens of tiny little snails all over my tank. I don't have a snail in my tank so where did they come from?

Prolly came on some plants or a decoration that had recently been in water.

I love mine, they help with uneaten food and algae, dont want em, just feed less.

Get a fish that eats snails... new fish + no mor snails = :)

Send them to me .... I am trying to raise those little pests and all they are doing is getting fat and not producing.

I seriously need to find a bunch - used to have a bunch until my GSP ate them all in one night!

Dude, why are snails so bad? You see their little pink bodys, their cute little eyes under their 2 entenaie / feelers, and their little mouths munch away on all that yucky algae.

I had the same problem. And the funny thing is i have never had any live plants or used decorations in my tank. I'm guessing i must have pick up a few eggs when i introduced a fish into my tank.

thats my take on it.. they dont actually hurt a tank, in fact they help it, by eating any leftover food and detrius, as well as algae.

i love having them in my tanks, but i do use the squish if i see them on the glass technique. However I usually don't see more than a couple at a time.
