I agree on your thoughts about the vigilante, I am concerned however, that the play he makes will not be for the town, solidifying his survival...just something to watch....

OK, I've been doing some research on JMax's list. I did a detailed investigaion of Hooked Newbie.
First Post (page 16)
Dern... been reading (waiting) on the other thread.... catching up!
Second post is very detailed with quotes from a variety of sources and comments. Notably Hooked says that NOlapete scares him and then he agrees with Ice's train of thought.
Third - says he has is eye on me and NeonJulie
Fourth "Z... I kinda agree with your list but think CL may be TOO obvious. Maybe not though, so my top 3 after reading all posts are...
1. Nola
2. Ogre
3. CL
Not real sure yet though and new to the game. I'd really like to see more posts before I come close to making up my mind."

To me, it looks like either a frustrated innocent's move or a deperate move on the part of someone who's been caught. I'm reserving my vote for before bed, but right now if not killed in a freak Margarita accident I'm afraid that I'll have to vote for Pete. I at least want my first game vote to count and be correct. From the posts (and not the "player develpment" ones) I am very suspicious.
Other than that, my only observations are that Ogre's not seeming as "scary" as last night, but maybe not completely innocent, and FL has been very quiet (which could just be a sign of having a life)."

I do find it interesting that you're going back that far to add to your list. My current top 3 are...
1. Cory Lover- Everyone has stated the reasons. I concur.
2. Madcrawdad- Because the posts all seem to come in "bursts" and seem to be steering us in a particular direction and the directions have changed.

Sandy makes a very good case against BKW and at the same time, Mad made a good case against JohnLarsons and Max (But, I think after last night Max may be the ONLY one we can count on as innocent and the only other person I saw post that opinion was JL...).

My only comments at this point on hooked newbie is that he seems to be following the flow very well. He is making posts and considering things, but almost all (if not all) of his conclusions are copies of others.
He agrees with Mad a lot. He finds me shady yet his list is a virtual twin of mine.
I reall don't see the information here that JMax claims to have proved him a mafia. I'm certainly not declaring him totally innocent yet. But I see this as more of an innocent than a mafia.
I would also say that he plays the confused card. Only once and with a legitement case for it as I was kinda confused when 13 and Nola tried to drop out.
So, I'll ask JMax to explain to her reasoning to me.

Thanks for compiling that Ogre. After reading that I think if Mee-Mee is Mafia, then Hooked Newbie is Innocent. If Mee-Mee turns out to be Innocent I will have to rethink things. But that is also true for many others.

Because of his voting pattern. He voted for CL, and was one of the first to toss in Mee-Mee as well. If both are Mafia I find it unlikely he is Mafia as well. Of course the Mafia will vote for their own if forced to cover their tracks but not repeatedly and not so early on I would think. seems like they would wait until the person being lynched is fairly out there in the spotlight before casting their own stone. Am I saying HN is 100% Innocent if Mee-Mee is Mafia? No, just that it will take them down one peg on my list. But HN really does seem confused by the speed of posting in the thread, it feels genuine to me. I think they are following the flow of others, you are correct there, but in an Innocent roll. It is possible I'm being led like a sheep, but it is just my feeling. My feelings were correct on CL, I voted them Day 1 and 2, and never felt Nola was Mafia. I am confident that I am right about Mee-Mee and bkw1982 as well.

Note that I am absolutely not dead set on BKW1982 at this point. Not even saying he's mafia, but here's some things he said yesterday that made me raise my eyebrows.

That's fine....so apparently I'm posting the obvious, things that BKW has already picked up on. Yet, does anyone remember BKW claiming that he's not reading all the posts? Would seem to me that a townie would scour every post for any info at all.

I've admitted that I defended CL. Matter of fact, I REALLY stuck my neck out there because I thought that voting for someone based upon their first post in the game was completely illogical. Whatever. It turned out well for the town so I can't argue, right? IMO a more sensible strategy for the mafia to defend Cory Lover would be using subtlety, kind of like BKW's post here
And why has BKW been sitting on Zsandmann for so long anyway? IMO Z is sure behaving like an innocent. He's digging thru hundreds of posts to pull quotes and stringing ideas together. Keeping tallies for folks, etc. Anyone tried this stuff? It's not fun (kinda tedious, actually), and if you're mafia you don't really need to do it...so you probably don't do it. Although I can't say with certainty, I am leaning innocent on Z.

Finally, I went back yesterday and tried to piece together how (and in what order) people voted on Day 2. Was hoping to see where people were getting on and off of the CoryLover lynch train. Guess what I found? BKW didn't vote at all on Day 2. Not really sticking your neck out if you don't vote, right?
With all that being said, do I think BKW is mafia? Maybe. Is it interesting information? Probably. Folks can use it how they'd like.
