MAFIA #5 The Play.....

In response to Coler calling out your varied posting styles you point the finger back at the Senior players.

One more thing I missed. I didn't want that to be construed as finger-pointing, and there were no inherent accusations in my statement. It was an observation that said, basically, newbies are at an inherently higher suspicion level at the beginning of the game, because there is nothing to compare "playing style" to, i.e. past games. I wasn't implying that the senior players are mafia, only that with them you have a little more to go on when deciding mafia/innocent status.

I was just trying to get some more information from sploke. As a newbie it is hard to read them. I imagine my trick only works once but sploke's responses to my accusations seemed sincere. I think they just like the cowboy image and are into statistics. I'm not stating their innocence but I have a much better read now.

I'm of two minds right now. I would prefer to vote for Clown-Lover, all the statistics and stuff reminds of me of one of my dad's quotes, "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, then baffle them with BS."

On the other hand, I would like to vote for Sploke to keep the voting nearly even until later. Personally, I think that anyone who says they have a good candidate is either lying to us or to themselves.

The only ones with good candidates are the mafia since they already know who's who.

At this time, i vote to lynch Clown-Lover.

my vote is currently on sploke Z...I was fairly happy with it. Can I ask what you're thinking ?

I'm curious to see some reasoning behind your vote...I didn't see any before from you, just what others had already mentioned.

O jeez! This is my second time playing and I still feel like a complete newb...right now I'm a little nervous of those who talked about the whole random number thing with all the probabilties. Is the mafia trying to assure us that an innocent is going to be lynched tonight? I know that it's "mathmatically probable" but why come out and say it with all of the numbers and such. Just because there is a good chance that we will lynch a townie doesn't mean we shouldn't try to find a mafia on night 1.

Call it what you like, I think we may be getting herded right now with the joander vote. This game as some serious shades of Round 4 going on with the early obvious picks. I am looking very closely at the folks on that train right now. Maybe not judge as she was first in line and based her voted on an erratic joander, which is fair, but the later jumpers are all suspect.

This game is definitely hard to call. If joander wasn't playing his first game I would be tempted to vote for him, like CL in game 4. But for some reason people are a lot harder to read this game...maybe we all learned something from last game.

Well, since the mafia know who all the innocents are, I would say its pretty assured that they will get an innocent, since they're not going on chance and observation like we are. Unless they're going to try something funny by offing one of their own, but I don't see that happening.
