If you can see white stringy hanging poop, it could be a sign of internal parasite. It is not a bad idea to put him into QT and watch closely for couple of days. If he keep pooping white stringy poop and is not getting better, you may start somewhat mild internal parasite treatment.

I think you better test the water parameter again and check your food especially jello / broccoli or cucumber. Healthy ram should be fine at 85. (Usually, healthy ram will be fine even at 90.)

Agree with two HOBs.. I think another 30G rated filter will be good enough. Usually, 55G HOB is quite big and some fishes don't like too strong flow.

To make fully grown Oscar happy, you need at least 75G. There are other cichlids which is not going to grow huge & have nice color. You can report your water KH /GH /PH. Then the cichlid experts here will provide more suitable one for you. ( Don't ask me!!! I don't know much about cichlid. :) )

Thank you!!! When RCS and child cory compete to eat more pellet, it is really funny too. Those adult RCS are as big as little child corys. So, they do not afraid child corys and eat the pellet together.

Angels are not going to eat adult guppies. It depends on your tank setup such as plants and hiding place and so on... More fries going to be eated by adult guppies than angels. (Angels are too slow.) And eventually, your tank will be filled with guppies soon or later. :)
