i don't know if ADFs would be happy in there. how tall is a 250? ADF's need to get to the surface to breath, which might be an issue if the tank is too tall (this is all second hand info so don't take my word on this lol)

well i guess my question is...should I reduce my lighting down from 40W to 30W (i.e. will this help with my algae issues) or will this be detrimental to the plants without providing very much gain (again, i.e. decreasing algae growth, in particular BBA and brown algae)
