Leopardess, We have an annual flea outbreak here that lasts for about two-three weeks. We buy a years supply of Frontline and only use about 2 months worth, then never need it again until the following year. Just when the weather starts to get really warm again, they seem to come out of...

    Think I've created a monster!

All my dogs have loved to go fishing over the years. They like to kiss the fish before you put them back or in the livewell :) None of our 4 dogs now pay much attention to the aquariums though.

    Hey all! Filter Media Q

Most advice I've heard is for reef tanks is to not run a UV system but go with activated carbon full time or when needed for water clarity.

    R/O unit & Skimmer on E-Bay ???

I always suggest buying the complet kit from HD. That looks like a complete kit to me, with the storage tank, etc. At that price it's about half of what the sysetm at HD costs. One thing though, when they mention 3 gal for the capacity of the tank, I think that's an outside volume...

$2.17 for the good stuff here in the sunshine state. I ride a motorcycle to save gas. Let's see 10 bucks to fill it up and it goes about 130 miles per tank........... Hmmmmmmmm.
