The severums get pretty large, I'd get a smaller cichlid pair instead, so that you can keep more tankmates. A good choice could be blue acaras or smaller cichlids like Laetacara.

Satanoperca jurupari is a pretty laid back big cichlid...very impressive fish.

I'll rephrase what I wrote... Severums are generally very peaceful by cichlid standards, and mbuna are significantly more aggressive. I've seen severums picked on by some significantly smaller fish. Whether it worked for you or not, it is not good advice to mix sevs with mbuna.

severum is probably the most compatible, but most in the list except the flowehorn, are somewhat compatible if the tank and fish sizes are adequate.

Just humanely destroy the hybrid fry, although if you can feed them to other fish that is an even easier solution.

In a tank that size, I would do it as long as the parameters are closer to what the peacocks want, which isn't too far off from most CA. The acaras being SA will prefer lower, but as long as they arent wild caught it shouldnt be a problem

I would try adding the eyebiters, but I don't know if it's a good idea to take in the whole group.
