    Mafia 39 signup

Having mastered my inner daemons, met my goal to untimely demise; I am now ready to move forward. My next goal is to survive to the end of a game, while lynching judge, Lady, and hit Hooked with a large semi rotted codfish. I'm in.

    Crystal Red Shrimp...

The greediest shrimp breed I have are M. scrabiculum. The alpha male will run about grabbing as many shrimp pellets he can find and jump anyone who comes within four inches of him. Nice Crystal Reds, Bill. :)

What does it mean when a red claw crab has molted?

Crustaceans molt because of a few different reasons. 1. They've grown, and their shell is too small. 2. They're stressed and seek to eliminate some toxins. 3. Due to an injury, they've regenerated, or partially regenerated, a lost limb. Multiple molts are usually needed to fully restore a...

They hooked me four years ago. Now, I'm just trying to increase the population of the Macroholics Anonymous meetings.

    Dwarf Cray - Cambarellus shufeldtii

They should do fine, given enough room and food. The crayfish are very peaceful. Make sure that there are enough hiding places for the young shrimp and crayfish. That is where most of the competition will occur, between the young. There may be some killing, done by both shrimp and crayfish...

    Mistake?

I have Ghost Shrimp in a tank with platties. The fish reproduce without any problems. Palaemonetes paludosus, North American Ghost shrimp, do not actively hunt down their food. They are opportunistic feeders, and will take advantage of a weak, sick, or injured animal, if they are able to.

    fast shrimp

Red Claw shrimp are also prolific, easy to care for, and very interesting. I've watched them gain popularity over the years, and like to think that I helped too ;).

    Ghost Lobster

If the photograph on liveaquaria is an accurate depiction of what they sell, it is a Cherax species. The claws look a bit like a yabbie (Cherax destructor ), but I'm not sure. I've never seen a white morph of a Cherax destructor.

Alternative to Foam Over Filter Intake?

If you want to keep tiny critters out of the filter, you need to have a screen that has smaller holes than the animals. Some have used pantyhose, media bags, sponge, and canister foam (my preference). To keep water flow from being impeded, rinse what ever you use weekly. Make sure that you...

    Is this normal???

Yep, they're eggs. Fiddler crab larvae need brackish water, if you want the larvae to mature to crabs.

    crs planted nano neat jar

It's doable, but I wouldn't put shrimp in it. Maintaining water quality may be touchy, with such a small volume to deal with.

    FILTRATION

I also don't use the prefab'd filter cartridges. I replace them with the big round pot scrubbers, and canister filter foam. I fill up all of the cavity with media, so that there's more surface for the bacteria to grow. It's easy to maintain, once a week pull it out and rinse gently in water...

    BRINE SHRIMP Q'S

I made my own hatcheries from a chunk of 2x4 and a two liter bottle. I used a rotary tool to make a hole, large enough for the bottle cap to sit in, then an ajoining hole large enough for air hose to fit. The hole ends up being a right angle. I made a hole in the cap, large enough for the air...

    Blue Lobsters

Try searching Aquabid.com for a dwarf species of crayfish. There are some interesting colors, orange, white, blue, etc... But, I recommend that, if you want to breed crayfish, don't keep fish of any kind, with crayfish.

    Mafia 38 "the revenge"

Sorry guys. I just got caught up. I don't have any high profile candidates. I'm curious about Narwhal, but I don't think any big red mafia flags are waving right now. But, to be on the safe side, and not UD, I vote to lynch Oger. Not for any concrete evidence, but I suspect he would be a...
