Is it normal for a Betta to be bright-colored or to have dull colors instead? I've read that wild Bettas usually look darker...but if a bright-colored Betta turns dark, it's a sign of disease/stress, right?
Do freshwater and saltwater equipment have to be replaced even if they're working properly? I heard that even though certain pieces of equipment can last pretty long, they still need to be replaced because they release harmful chemicals overtime or something like that...just checking with the pros
Even though I thoroughly boiled my driftwood before adding it to the tank, it still changed the color of my water...should I have let it soak for a couple days before adding it to the tank, or is this just a sign to momentarily chuck out the wood?
So is it possible to keep a puffer fish in a marine tank? If so, how demanding would it be? This is just a hypothetical question, I wouldn't get one but just curious
So I know that adding any form of chemicals to your aquarium is risky and you shouldn't do that unless it's a last resort for cleaning or maintenance...so how bad are aquarium water clarifiers regarding their chemistry?
Do you guys think it's impossible to keep oysters at home in your tank? Whether it be in separate tank dedicated to them only, or in a tank with fish (and plants)? :p
