yes, its still eating quite well, the larger portion sticking out broke off but the anus area is still very large and it seems liek theres more its trying to push out, all the other fish are fine and all my water parameters are normal. ill try scaring the s**t out of it

Ah, I keep up with water changes but I do feed only live black worms. I rinse them thoroughly but maybe this is causing them?
