i know my neons have moved to the top of my tank to school with my white clouds. makes it look like a nice big school. and to make it evan better my male guppys have started to stay with them to. only other thing i have in the tank is a few rams and a bristlenose.
could it be a lack of oxygen in the water maybe? i know when i took my live plants outta my tank once all my agels started going to the top gasping for air added a bubble wand and all was fine. dont know if it'll help or not
well maybe i'll just have to try it and see what happens, ( i pretty sure it cant eat a full grow snail whole) i still think it'll be ok, just worried it might try to eat the tentacles or something.
its mouth is i little bigger than the size of a pin head, dont see how it can eat a snail thats bigger than a quarter? and i have an empty tank for when it does become a frog (20 gallon)
ive had this little bullfrog tadpole in a 5.5 gallon tank for a while. question i have would it be ok to maybe add in a mystery snail or maybe one or two dwarf frogs? filter on it is an over the back (came off my 10 gallon, and is made for a 15-20 gallon tank)
u test the water ammonia, nitrates stuff like that? how often do you do water changes, how big is the tank. we need to know stuff like that to help solve this
well i was using an old school milk jug with an algea wafer to bait the snails it definatly cut down there numbers but a week later there are tons of teeny tiny snails everywhere.
well i actualy just changed the stock (had a big tyrent angelfish) traded him in for some neons, white clouds, male guppys, a bristle nose, a whiptail, and some rams.
i have alot of trumpet snails in my tank, ive used snail traps to keep the numbers low but they still have been eating the roots off my plants. ive moved the plants to a 10gal im cycling for my betta (his old tank got craked and leaks badly) is there anyway that anyone can think of to get ride...
i can remember an employee at a big box store telling a lady 2 oscars would look wonderful in her new, still in the cart tank. so he bagged her up two and off she went. poor oscars :(
