go with a rubbermaid stock tank and get a pond pump filter etc.. you can always build around the tank to make it look nice... I attached some flat glass to bottom with aquarium silcone and suction me heaters etc to it... also look up diamondback terrapins ... you wont be dissapointed.

I would recommend a stock tank prob 100 gal or 120,, your turtle will get pretty large. stock tanks work great.. more natural.. I keep my two diamond back terrapins in one in the house looks awesome.

good luck with them.. they can be extremely delicate. I wont even try them anymore. and Ive been doing tanks for many yrs now. I can keep a few species , but not them...

not here my city water would eventually kill just about anything,, I rotate 4 5gal jugs of ro water ... suck water into an empty then dump a five gal in.. Im all south american apistos though.. so I have to do the RO thing... does anyone have an RO sink filter for for $5 bucks lol,,, getting...

ya good luck this can be a very sensitive fish. i have tried forever with the ones my lfs's bring in and have only had luck one time with a bolivian ram. they always look so good, but i cant make it happen here. been doing this for yrs too. I have never tried fish breed by others,, maybe...

ya i use Sera peat, aldercones, extact etc. Right now I put peat in bag in filter and have alder cones all over bottom of my tank. guy on here sells them from time to time for really cheap

wont work you will need somthing on top of the peat to hold it down. put it in then put gravel layer then put water in without distubing bottom too much. and be careful when gravel vacuming !

I took my old stealth heater to petsmart a 200 watt one. Not the pro version either. I had no receipt or box. They told me to pick any 200 watt heater they had and exchange it out. I picked up a new Aqueon pro 200. retails for $40.. Sweet deal. thanks alot stealth heater recall.

did you guys need a receipt or not to exchange. I bought mine at a petsmart, but dont have receipt as it was over 6 months ago. dang thing has not worked in while, but if I could exchange it without a receipt that would be great..
