I already sent a note to the mods about that guy. As for a 1.5 gallon tank. Why not just keep it availabel in case you have a sick fish that needs to be separated. It isn't a necessity to keep a fish in every small jar that is available. Realistically you can stick just about any fish in something like that but they won't and can't thrive and therefore won't show you their true nature. Bettas in 1 gallon tanks tend to sit around and maybe make a bubble nest. Bettas in 5 gallon and bigger tanks spend the day prowling their territory, and keeping the bad guys out. A very different fish when in a bigger tank.

Plus the smaller the tank the more often you have to change the water and the harder it is to keep the params even.
