Ok, so i think my parents stopped caring about me spending time on my tanks, so i have decided to turn my 10 gallon, into an asian tank! Any plants from asia will do!
What i have so far
2 Wendtii Crypts (one growing AMAZINGLY well, the other, meh)
1 Java Fern (still a baby - Come leaves are yelloy at the edges and are transparent, any help on fixing this>)
and rocks.
I NEED
A floating plant to block off some light for my java fern
and A kinda "focal point" plant
I have this CRAPPY bubble filter thing, but i will hopefully be replacing it with a real filter soon.
I have 3 betta's (1 male and two female) in the same tank (they don't fight, the only problem is my male hasn't gotten used to my new female, so he is kinda chasing her and showing off - it's funny though, because my older female cuts him off and looks like she is saying to leave her alone, lol)
6 neons - moving to my 30 gallon though
1 applesnail (was labled mystery snail) - excellent at eating my algae problem that i had!
1 cory cat - moving back to 30 gallon, he was a temporary until i could get a new cleaner
There is ONE question i have, though. I read that SOME people successfully grow bamboo in their tanks, others say it ruins the water and kills fish, others use dried bamboo and replace it yearly. I would like a little in the tank, too - which meathod should i go about?
thanks!
