10 Gal Moss Journal

A nice start!

THE LIGHT CAME IN!!! THE MANZANITE CAME IN!!! ITS LIKE FRIGGIN CHRISTMAS TODAY!

Well my Manzanite came earlier then I thought! So that means I get a head start on soaking it and getting tannins out! Plus my light finally got here from Catalina Aquariums. Now I just gotta wait to get paid so I can order my moss and start bagging that stuff :)

that will be the powerhead mine does that on my 90gal keeps it at 80 constant, sure its a nuclear reactor

What type of lighting is that? I'm thinking of upgrading mine on my 20 gal and thats pretty much exactly what I'm looking for...also how much did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking :grinyes:

To me the light was cheap at $60, but may be expensive to some. Heres a link to the EXACT light:

I might get the legs kit and raise it off the top but I don't want to much light spilling out into my room.

Awesome, thanks alot! I have a feeling this tank is going to be awesome...keep us updated :thm:

Update for today:

I did a water change on the manzanite, I couldn't believe how brown the water got! Looks like i'm soaking this for a good long time to make sure its ready. I also put my power head in the 5 gallon to help circulate water and speed up the process.
