Hi,
I think I have a Orando(sp?) fancy goldfish. Anyways...it's about 1 1/2" in a 10 gallon with a small pleco(he may go away though). I just got done treating him in a hospital tank, so now I'm looking on how to setup a new 10 gallon.
Any ideas on what would be good filteration for a 10 gallon?
On hand, I have an undergravel filter available and a AquaClear mini.
One idea was to toss the old filters, and using something like a Penguin Bio Wheel. Is a Penguin 200 too much for the 10 gallon? I mean turbelence wise? the price diffence between the 100,150,200 is like 2 bucks so no big deal, why not go for the larger.
My other idea is to use the undergravel plus mini with bio media. But I keep hearing that UGFs may not be the best route although some swear by them.
Any ideas? btw...i made another goldfish if I can get the right filter setup.
Thanks!!
