I don't know about dario darios much, but I would like to get them. But, wouldn't a 1 to 3 ratio male to female respectively work better than 2 and 2, or does it not matter. I am not sure, but I would do 1/3(1 male + 3 females) or 2/3(2 males + 3 females)?
Not sure, I would only do this for breeding if possible. But I know nothing
from what I've read, 2 and 2 is fine for these. They will stake out territory, but generally all get along. Just make sure they have lots of plants and hiding spots and driftwood to break up LOS (Line of sight, can you tell I play WoW?)

lol, WoW was awesome.... too bad I had to stop playing it, fishkeeping got to expensive, had to pick between WoW or Fish.... fish won. They will pair up, correct? And I will have plenty of plants in their tank, and driftwood and probably some rocks too. They'll be fine.
Got the sand, the filter, and some fake plants. Will get lights, real plants, and fish later, within the month though.
EDIT, Saw your post. So they will pair up while mating but not be paired when they aren't mating? Works for me, so long as they don't try to kill each other or anything.
I have no money RIGHT NOW. By next thursday I should have $160 to spend, and I'm taking my time with this tank, it won't have fish for around a month, or more.
Yes, yes, I know... I was a bad boy, I shouldn't have gotten the new filter, but I didn't know my fish was sick until I got home.... stop yelling at me! *runs away crying* Yes, I do understand I should save up, and I have nothing to spend that money on next week anyway, except food, so it's not going anywhere.
