Within the week I'm going to start cycling my empty ten gallon to give my betta some more room (coming from a 3 gallon), and I want to put some cories in as well. Would three be alright or would that be overstocking? Any help/advice is welcome.
personally I feel that only dwarf cories are really sutible for 10G tanks, due to the maximum adult size most cories can attain (2.5-3") and the fact they need schools of 5 or more. dwarf cories only get to an inch as adults, so a ten gallon could easily host up to 7 of them with the betta.
yeah, that's not true^^ it's still cycling if you seed, its just in a shorter time frame.
