10 gallon stocking!

My main concern is that no one, including yourself did not comment on the part of him turning them loose. In fact you posted several times what he could put in the tank without a thought of what he said about the frogs... That was my first thought when I read his question. And before I would even comment on what could or could not be put in the tank I would have pointed this out to him. So your comment is rather late, after you didn't comment on the first part of his post. No need to point fingers now after you let it go in the first place and then decided to comment after it was pointed out.

It's a little harsh to call someone out like that for 'commenting late'. It literally took me 15 minutes after reading your post to find where he said he put them in a pond. Obviously it is in the first post but remember we aren't in here combing through every word that is typed. I skim most posts and speed read through most of this so isn't it possible that many people just didn't notice it until you did and are glad you pointed it out so they can say their piece about it too? Try and consider it from another angle. It isn't like you said it and everyone jumped on the bandwagon it probably just wasn't noticed before...

Mmm not harsh at all. Just stating the facts.
15 minutes is a long time to actually read the first post. Yes I do read the posts, I don't skim or speed read the question. Can't answer the question If I do not read the actual post asking it.
But I'm not here to argue the point, I said what I thought needed to be said and now i'm done with that part of this post :)
So back to the topic at hand we go lol.

I love the idea of the Celestial Pearl Danios in your tank.
I think these are pretty little fish! I would like to have some, but alas my angels would make a quick lunch out of them. You did get me to thinking that I may have to set up a smaller tank just so I can have the smaller pretty fish lol.

Please read up on these or what ever you decide to keep in the tank. That way you will know if they are hard to care for before you get them :)

I'll put my Betta in the 5.5 with shrimp.

As for the frogs... The reason I released them to the pond was because I literally had no other options. The people from Craigslist had no experience and they didn't seem too serious. The reason I rehomed the frogs was because they were just more work while I was setting up a 75 gallon saltwater. I found that it was the best thing to do by putting them in the pond. If I see them I will try to put them in one of our many 10 gallons, then I will try to find a home another time.

I'm making that 10 gallon for puffers. Only 2, maybe only 1 to start off with.

For the record I will include a snail or two in its diet. But dwarf puffers teeth DO stop growing.

I will have MANY plants to accommodate for the puffer's messy ways.

I will try to fix the mistake I made. Thank you for pointing it out to me.

Ptrick, thank you for not taking offence about the frogs, we all live and learn :)
At least now you know why it was pointed it out to you so for future reference.

Hope to see your tank when it is up and running :)

They are very cute, but for my taste kinda to small lol. All I could see in my tank was the plants!

Rbishop,
Agreed, and when ever possible I think we as a whole should point these things out to others when we see it. I know I may sound rather snotty, but it just amazed me not a single person pointed this out to the person what so ever. I seldom post but this I just had to comment on this post lol.

Ptrick125,
it's not only that they might die but the fact that they could have an illness they could spread to local wildlife or cause harm to them is the problem. They could very well live I don't know what these animals need to survive, but if by chance they do live they could breed and out compete local wildlife for food and or habitat. This is where others should have advised you before anything was even suggested for your tank.

i missed it in the post

I have my mbuna cichlid that has been bullied very badly in the 10 gallon right now, is that a bad idea?

He has torn fins, and so far he's looking less shy in there.
