My main concern is that no one, including yourself did not comment on the part of him turning them loose. In fact you posted several times what he could put in the tank without a thought of what he said about the frogs... That was my first thought when I read his question. And before I would even comment on what could or could not be put in the tank I would have pointed this out to him. So your comment is rather late, after you didn't comment on the first part of his post. No need to point fingers now after you let it go in the first place and then decided to comment after it was pointed out.
It's a little harsh to call someone out like that for 'commenting late'. It literally took me 15 minutes after reading your post to find where he said he put them in a pond. Obviously it is in the first post but remember we aren't in here combing through every word that is typed. I skim most posts and speed read through most of this so isn't it possible that many people just didn't notice it until you did and are glad you pointed it out so they can say their piece about it too? Try and consider it from another angle. It isn't like you said it and everyone jumped on the bandwagon it probably just wasn't noticed before...
