thanks. I have to take about 50 pics to get one that is decent, and I still haven't got one thats in 100% focus...

I kinda miss the redhooks. But the tank looks great so far! Got any other ideas for stocking?

not sure what else I can add. what ever it is, it has to be a top or mid level swimmer or it will starve.

what little food reaches the bottom is quickly gobbled up.

even now, I have to put in a good pinch of shrimp pellets for the bushynose plecos.

Practice makes perfect or so I was told. Also if you take enough pictures then one has to turn out good sometime. Fish are looking great even in the blurry shots as well.

Put more light on the tank and raise the shutter speed.

Or try using the flash.

thanks for the tips. I will try a few of these with the camera in manual mode.

all my shots so far are in the 'aquarium mode' with the exposure setting at -1 so the tank does not appear washed out (which it does in this mode if you don't adjust the exposure setting)
