This is the 5' 120 long tank. I'm not loving the depth of the tank, but I do like that it is 5 foot and not 4.
I haven't updated on this tank it a LONG time so I'll start with that...
The Buenos Aires are really beautiful fish, but the ate almost all of my ambulia. What they didn't eat I threw out b/c it because infested with black brush algae. I treated all the plants, raocks, wood, filter intake and spray bar with H2O2 which killed the BBA.... but only temporarily. I also added in hornwort thinking the BUenos Aires would leave it alonl ike most fish, but they've eaten it too

Between them and the BBa this tank isn't looking too good, but I have plans for a major overhaul soon.
I am planning to make this more of a large cichlid tank.
The stocking will be
1 Oscar
1 Blood Red Parrot
2 JDs (the pair from the 55)
2 Clown Laoches
1 Leopard Pleco
Now I know when full grown this tank will be over stocked, but I plan to increase water changes and will also be finding a new home for the pleco and clown loaches when they get closer to their adult size. I also know that the loaches are schooling fish, but at least for now I will keep their numbers at only 2. They are still active and are doing great even with it only being the 2 of them.
I am also switching over to seachem pond matrix for the bio media in the trickle filter part of the sump. These should really help because the media I am using now just doesn't have enough surface space to provide adequate biological filtration.
That pretty much brings everything up to date...
O and since I've neglected to add them thus far... here are some pics
Very very very old pic lol
These guys were great, but my male Angel at the time was just way too aggressive for them.
The new little O. Someone ditched him at work and we can't put fish not from our store into our tanks so I brought him home. Had been thinking of getting one anyways....
The Angels with their eggs (this spawn was eaten by the pleco that was in there).
