Yeah, I’ll leave the temperature alone ? The thermometer should be accurate, its a Marina one and just read reviews and none said about it being not accurate.

I personally keep my bettas between 78-82°f depending on the heater. The 14 gallon sits at 82°f and all my fish are active.

I’ll keep in a high temperature in the tank, but lower than 28 C, will keep 27 C I think. I’ll have 3 MTS wih him in the tank as well and I know no thing about them.

I have three mystery snails, 4 Cardinal Tetras and 3 galaxy Rasboras with my king at this temp and so far no problems.

How do MTS do their job if i may ask? Pretty excited about those guys lol

MTS? Malaysian trumpet snails? If the tank is over fed they breed like crazy.

I like the mystery snails and nerite snails.

Nerites, from what I’ve heard are poop machines. My first two died just like that xD Mystery snails are not available in the UK, but yesh, they are awesome snail fwiends ?

Mystery snails are also poop machines, but not as bad as goldfish or plecos.
