it's for my crab, and will also house some amano shrimp, and temporarily some cherry barbs... but it will be brackish in a month or so, and the barbs will be replaced with glass fish or something like that

Nice. I didn't think I'd like the suction-cup rockpile thing, but it looks okay.
Let me know how that canister works out. I've heard the tubing breaks apart easily since it's corrugated.

yeah, the filter has been a bit of a pain... the corrugated tubing sucks, but the main problem is faulty return line barbs, the flow indicator/barb connection has leaked on several tries, but they've been cool and sent me new ones. I want to plumb it all with standard tubing and quarter rounds... when I get around to it.
