option 2 would bring us back to the start and we would have to find different fixtures

Will be good if Vader is able to post a topless pic of his tank (lol). Gives us more of a frame of reference.

2 x 36" fixtures obviously won't fit either - would need to go to 24" like you said. Sounding more and more like the black fixture with the black stand!!

I will - I need exact dimensions (including where the blocks are) from Vader (or the supplier), as well Catalina. Either way, the vents on the end firing right into the canopy is not cool. There is the possibility of venting the canopy (cutting / drilling holes in it) - that possibility just isn't a very strong one (lol). Not excited about defiling my brand new canopy (lol)!!

Retrofit - just when you thought you were done with the lighting question (lol). I sold the Mrs. on the 150, but there is "no" selling her on the black stand and black fixture. After she saw the cherry there was no looking back. It's going to definitely be the cherry stand and canopy.

Question: Suggestions for retrofit T5 fixtures!!
