150 Gallon Build Thread ... From the Start

ill solve co2 discussion now..

1- regulator coy already has = milwaukee
2- tank not sure if coy has but should be a 20lb tank
2- ph monitor (optional)

Right on BK - I've got the Co2 dialed in (remember my 45 - lol). Will pick up the biggest tank (20lb) that will fit in the stand. pH monitor is likely overkill from what I've heard / read.

Oh yeah, can't wait till we get to the CO2 discussion LOL!! I'm at the grand unveiling if beer and brats are involved...

You're in - Arizona is a hell of a lot closer to Oregon than Brooklyn. Don't worry BK - you still have time to make your travel arrangements (lol). No, before you even ask - no travel account setup is happening here (lol).

Yes its certainly personal preference. Personally, I wouldn't sleep at night without my pH controller. Shuts off the solenoid when Co2 is too high (i.e. below set pH) or kicks on if Co2 is too low (i.e. above set pH). More importantly, it also turns on extra airstones if the pH crashes in the event the solenoid malfunctions or if a Co2 burst occurs in a low-tank dump:
