Thanks Matt.

I plan on using the hinge setup on the canopy as a pattern; the rest we will build from the ground up. May even try and match it to the trim, etc in our house.
 
Very nice. For a tank that size you need the hinge ability. I built mine with that and I have to say, it is a godsend.

I posted a thread over on MFK and apparently Hagen is having trouble selling them.

I will see if I can find out more from the LFS where I used to work.

I suspect the reason Hagen is having trouble is that the units do not have an on/off switch on them.

that turns a lot of people off (including myself when they first came out)

I like the ease of an on/off switch. I think they should have waited and incorporated a switch first before launching the product line.
 
I am curious to see this progress.

my big tank and tank room has been put on hold for now:mad2:
