I had nunchuks until a couple months ago when my house got raided by the police. Didn't get charged thank god, because up here having a pair is as bad as having a gun.
Nunchakus are rarely allowed. They are illegal even here in Arizona, where you can buy a gun at every corner.

changed permissions on my myspace - should be able to see pics now. I can :joke: Also, my brother in law spent a couple hours last night running a bucket train, so now I'm full and cycling. Got some mopani wood and some used bio-filter media in there to kick start the cycle and some fresh artificial plants to provide some surface area for everything to grow on. The titanium heater I put in works like a charm! Went to bed last night and the temp was 60ish, woke up this morning and the controller was off and it was up to the set 72F.

More to follow!

congrats man, stand looks nicely made.

40 feet of 2x6 #1 select spruce, 24 feet of 2x4 #1 select spruce and 100 - 2.5" #8 screws went into it. Going to finish it in knotty pine wanescotting to match the bookshelves in the living room and add 2 cupboards underneath to house all the crap involved in taking care of it and a valance up top to cover the lighting that I have yet to put together. It has tons of natural light from the 4x8 window that it's parked in front of, but still need some artificial to set it off after dark!

I don't think it's crazy. Just look at that aquarium accident. The handling of nunchakus is very difficult and needs lots of experience. It's easy to kill or damage yourself or someone around you, even if you don't intend to.

people just need to become educated about the proper use of these devices; such as getting instructions from a local martial arts institute:

ANYWAY the tank looks really cool....i especially like how the "L" shape created a wall of water...
btw, how much did you have to pay for the tank (w/ out shipping)?

thanks, and good Luck,
