i got my betta today. he seems to like his new home. i cant believe what they keep them in....

only thing is that he is taking in food then spitting it out???

here are some pictures, he was kiding the whole time

and the best one

no offense, but I think it qould look better with live plants.

betta is a nice one.

thanks for the comments. i dont want plants in it right now.

Nice looking betta! Some of them can be picky eaters, what are you feeding? I find mine prefer the floating pellets over anything else. They spit out the flakes and sinking pellets. They wouldn't even take dried blood worms at first.

You might want to watch his fins with that plastic grass - they tear pretty easily and that grass can be sharp. If you see any fin splitting or tearing, I'd look to that as the culprit.

he will deffinetly tear his fins, all my bettas rest on the bottom of th tank at night..so with those plants he'll get shreddded fins..
you need to get the plastic plants out and get some silk or real ;)

those plants are against the front he doesnt mess with them. he has lots of room to lay on the bottem. other plant is silk. if i notice him messing with he grass it will come out.

he wouldnt eat the pellets i got that actually for a betta, but he will eat dried blood worms...
