I lave a lovely 15 gallon 2foot tall tank, think of it like a tower, and I'm wanting to turn it into a planted shrimp tank. I'm looking mostly at LED lighting systems but I'm not sure if I'll get enough penetration to grow plants at the bottom. Seems shrimp like moss and other things but I've had those die off quickly in other tanks. I'd really like to make the tank look lush and beautiful, what are my options as far as LED systems go?

I'm currently testing out the finnex planted plus. I'll let you know how it goes. Sofar it seems like a good light and was reasonable priced.

Yeah, those 15g talls are an oddball footprint for sure. You'd have to experiment with plants because the footprint is very small. Some tall driftwood with anubia and java fern going up the height of it would be cool and would only require basic plant lighting.
