really cool tank! I want one now just like it!

But i was wondering about feeding.. ive seen some people feed arrow fish mice -- is that what you will do? and will it let the other fish in there eat flake food? babies? what if the neons or tiger barbs have babies -- is there a method to let them survive with all those fish and arrow in there... or just going to let nature do its thing and hope a few survive. maybe if the arrow does have an occasional snack on a neon they will reproduce enough to off set it? i DUNNO REALLY. seems really neat and a smart way to do a tank.. really -- i want a set up just like that ....sigh....some day

that is a fantastic tank! lots of open swimming room for the fish. simple and elegant. really smooth!

Thanks everyone for the kind words, glad you all like it as much as I do :)

Very cool. What gave you the idea of keeping tetra with an arowana?
I love schooling fish and have been keeping aros since I was young, and I wanted them in a natural environment with one another...... I think they compliment one another very well :grinyes:

I feed the aro lizards, frogs, prawns, crickets, and hikari aro sticks he takes them with vigor. I didnt really care about breeding any of the fishes in my tank, but if they do then great. The tetras, barbs, and loaches feed off bits of the aro sticks that passes through his gills and bloodworms, mysis, and brine shrimp. I also put in the occasional zucchini and chicken breast for them too. The tetras, barbs, and loaches are perfectly fine in the tank and I really dont worry about losing any of them. I'll take a vid of feeding time later for everyone to see :)
