210g Build Thread....

Mine aren't in the open but they are where I can see them. Just swaying back and forth near one of the glass anemones mocking me..mocking me I tell you.
Maybe he's not mocking you....:naughty::hearts:
On a completely unrelated note, my lawnmower blenny has suddenly become very sociable, after a month or so of only sneaking out of the rock to grab some food. We started dropping in shrimp pellet or two and he goes nuts for them. He started by waiting for pieces of the pellet to blow past his hole and darting out to get it, but now he sits out in the open and waits for the food-giving powerhead gods to send a precious morsel his way.

your tank is really coming along nicely. Keep up the good work. Just a word of advice though...Try adding a few more powerheads to the tank this should help with the red slime algae, "cyanobacteria".
Thanks! I did modify my MJ1200s to increase their output drastically and it seemed to help a lot.

I need to get off my butt and take a nice picture w/a tripod since the tank looks better than it has in weeks. I did put in an order with my LFS for a sixline wrasse and some snails. Hopefully they will be here in the next couple of weeks. I know I could order them online and get 'em sooner but I would rather give my LFS the business. They're nice people and have put up with a TON of questions from me.
I'll post another picture soon!
I also want one of those porcelain crabs that Grins just got for her 55!
Thanks!
Robbie

hehe i say we host a raiding party. i love that crab. you will love your six line. mine knows when my hand hits the water there is usualy something good in it and will investigate my hand. i think my manderin might be cooler though because of where he sleeps. he sleeps right up front as if to say my tank so no one mess with it. he has the same spot every night.

Since I'm home sick from work today :liar: I thought I would relieve some boredom and try and get a respectable full tank shot of my tank. I had to combine two images to compensate for exposure issues, correct the lens distortion, and tweak the perspective, but this is what it looks like when you walk into my fish room (minus all the crap I shoved out of the way).
Sorry, no new fish yet.:sad:

It's really quite nice. Here is an idea...try standing to the right side with your back towards the window, in front of the tank but off to the side. Then shoot the tank down the front so you get sort of a sidways view but through the front glass. Get down on your knees so that your eye level is with the horizon of the sand. See what kind of shot you can get of that. The inside of the tank will be the focus versus the entire room.
