210g Build Thread....

Thanks! I will try taking a couple more shots this weekend. I like your idea Grins....I'll see what I can do. Taking a decent picture of an aquarium is more of a challenge than I thought it would be.

Lookin' good Robbie.. Keep up the good work.. How's the Red Slime battle going? BTW I almost bought a 210 gallon this week but I wouldn't know where to put it..

The red slime is all but gone...the increased flow seemed to do the trick. There is one spot all the way to the left of my tank that the powerheads don't really reach that there is still some hanging on, but I'm going to get another Maxi Jet to place in that corner. I need one anyway to use for water changes.
I recommend everyone have a 210:D. On our entire downstairs level, there were two walls that were large enough and blank enough to place this tank, and one of them has our couch up against it. I suppose I could have lugged this thing upstairs....hmmmm.....
Thanks!

Oh c'mon...you could fine a place. How much do you really use your sofa afterall?

Oh and psst...I made a similiar joke about a club member's pool table and he took me seriously and is now planning a 500g tank :lol2:

Oh you don't know how tempting it was.. Let me tell you.. But the GF basically said if I did she was leaving. I even tried that it could be her tank.. But nope.. She wasn't having anything of it. Said we needed a bigger place first. :(

But that has bonuses....start looking for a bigger place. One with a killer area for a fish room behind the scenes.
:iagree:

We entertained the idea (briefly) of converting our garage into living space, mainly as a place to keep the tank. The concrete floors were tempting. That and I wouldn't have had to move this heavy SOB into the house.
And I could have more space for pinball machines:D
