210g Build Thread....

any updated pics??? also i got a 6 line and he/she is amazing. constantly exploring and picking at things (assume they are copapods) i have even seen him eat an aptisia but i dont think he liked it very much.

Not a lot has changed...I haven't gotten my sixline yet:cry: although the LFS is supposed to get a couple in this Wednesday....can't wait!
The cyano is killing me! I hope that the increased flow from these MJ mod kits will help. I know I need to break down and buy an RO unit....I just need to put it off for a few more months.
I did a mod to my protein skimmer that is great (thanks to jojo22)! It eliminated the diffuser box and all but killed any microbubbles. The main thing it got rid of was the salt creep from the bubbling in my diffuser...it was spraying salt on the side of the tank, the skimmer, the floor. I'll post pics soon.
Is your wrasse peaceful with the other fish?
Thanks!
Robbie

i have no other fish lol :( but i have a fire shrimp and they just do their own thing. i traded in my other fish and got the little guy. i am going to add a clown in about 2 weeks. then i can tell you haha

wow, that is a nice looking tank, you conviced me to want some chromis's, they look awsome, and i love your little red and black crab he is cool, i have a 33gal, i should be getting my LR in on fiday, then i can staret the cycle, i cant wait to get my tank going, your tank is just awesome, that is all i can say!!, keep up the great work!!!,
Shane

Thanks Shane......I hope that I am doing the tank justice. I just need to defeat the red menace and I'll be happy:D
The chromis are great although now I wish I had bought a few more...ah well, hindsight...
The red legged hermits are cool too, but my LFS charges $6 each and the little blue legged guys are $2 each...so I have a few more of those.
I can't wait to see fish in your tank too.
If you get too impatient, fyi it took me over two years to get water in mine. :jaw-dropping:
Robbie

well the 2 yr wait was deffinatly worth it by the looks of things,
great job,
shane

Why only 4 of them? I'd get more than that if they are all you want, better to spread out any aggression.
:iagree:
I wish I had bought nine or so. I wonder if I can add 4 or five more to my tank without any major problems?
Robbie

Eh, you might be able to..might not. It isn't normally recommended to add more after the initial stocking but fish aren't all programmed the same. One of those calculated risks..how willing are you to accept potential losses?
