230g freshwater Ideas?

I have seen BIG clowns & they are awesome! Kyle has a big enough tank to do justice to them if he wants...I'm just sayin'...well, he should give clowns a good hard think...greater than yoyos any day!

I've got around 25 black skirts. 6 tin foil barbs (1 is 6" the others are 1.5"). 2 yoyos. 1 red tailed shark. 2 powder blue gourami. An elephant nose. A catfish. Pleco. 6 congo tetra.

Not fully stocked but doing good. I've been doing water changes every day since I've discovered my param problems. I'm happy with the fish I've got so far. Maybe after a while things may change but that won't happen for a while.

Sorry, I didn't realize you had ALL those fish now, wow 25 skirts from a 30g! Maybe add 4-7 yoyos & be done...including trying to grow plants, except maybe java ferns, anubias, etc. An under (ish) stocked tank is much easier to care for. Your elephant nose doesn't have trouble getting enough food? That's the problem we had many, many years ago with ours.

Ok to clarify that stock is what I have now. I brought like 8 fish from my 33g.

Added everybody in there a bit too quickly is why your params are going off. Don't worry, do your changes and it should be okay.

So if I do transfer over my old biomax from the canister of the 33g it will still have good bacteria on it? I'll do that when I get back then.

Yup. Added the media and things are within the normal ranges. Yay! Things are going smoothly now. Had one of my fish commit harri kerri on me... jumped right out.
