25 Gallon Experiment

No, its the other way around. They were originally Celestial Pearl Danios but were reclassified and now Galaxy rasboras. :)

Wait a minute, I did some research, found out there was a typo. Wow, I've thought wrong for so long. Thanks for correcting me, I learned something :). And everyone I talked to about them read the same article so thats why I firmly believed I was right.

I thought I was right....But H#ll with the name. I might get the little fish with colored spots on their sides....
I was actually thinking of getting flame tetras, My LFS had some in the last time I was in but they were not impressive at all. They had no color but I know what they can look like in a nice setup.

That can just be stress from being kept in a store tank. Give them conditions they like, and they'll color-up beautifully. Lemon tetras are like that. Often bland-looking in stores, but gorgeous at home.

If you want an inexpensive, no fuss school of fish, Harelquin Rasboras are my favorites. They have bold patterns, not necessarily bright, but they do have a gold glitter to them at the right angles. Check them out here.

Or whit clouds. They are hardy and inexpensive. I'm going to get a school going of them after I get my light and plants going.

Do not buy the Danios unless you intend to breed them.
I would not buy them unless I intended to breed them. They would take up a loss less room than my cons did that is for sure.
