ok so im going to petco today. im going to look at the king bettas and female bettas and see if i like any. would keeping 3 female bettas be a disaster? i'll also look for some plants!

I've kept multiple female bettas in 20 longs with no problem (3, just like you're thinking of). They might chase a bit (depending on the female), but no harm was ever done.

so 3 is a good number? ill put the cups by eachother and see if they try to fight. so now i have to decide between a king betta and a couple female bettas.

i've owned 3 too! one when i was like 8 and it was in a 10 gallon with swordtails and now its gonnas be 2 now
i got a king betta that'sblue and red with black spots on his top fin id get pics of him but he's hiding and just swimming on the floor of the tank. i also picked u 21 stalks of anachris for like 4 dollars from petsmart. i also got a female red clawed crab to go with my male, and i got a piece of driftwood that im soaking right now and will get pics in a couple of weeks when i put it in the tank.
