YES! It would be too much, I would only add the bottom species, and lastly the betta, unless you have too. But then, you need to be doing 2X weekly 40% atleast WCs, IMO. It seems like you have bettas in all your tanks, maybe skip them for now, the same fish gets boring, try planning for different species, like cichlids, labyrinths, dwarf cichlids, catfish, etc. I would never do the same fish in different tanks, unless I am breeding them.

i only have 1 right now. i totally forgot about the black neon tetras or harlequins that im adding oops..... so the bristlenose and 3 peppered corys will be ok?

I am shipping him live plants, but they would be arriving on wed. or thurs. so not that great. I would only add the corys now, as BNs are poop machines. You could do both if you are doing weekly 2X 35% + WCs, I think. If you don't have plants yet, I would only do corys.

I think you could add the bottom feeders and the betta myself. Feed very sparingly, and that'll help. Wait a couple of weeks, and add a school of fish, rinse, lather, repeat...

Personally, I don't see why you would. Bettas are pretty tough - otherwise they'd never survive the small bowl treatment so many get (unfortunately). They're designed to live in poor water conditions - shallow pools, drastic temperature changes, changing water parameters.
