:iagree:...Great advice!!! You know, 4 Cynotilapia afra of the Cobue or Jalo Reef variant can make it in that tank; but 4 is the limit and remember to add ONLY one male and 3 females. The other problem here is that females of this species are not so colorful as males are; so you will have only one colorful fish in the tank: the male.
 
Not sure if this has been said but why not get a longer tank (30 gallon long preferable) and get some Shelldwellers. In my opinion, I think that'd be so much more interesting than a few big fish. I like mbunas, in colonies in bigger tanks! :D
 
You are right, blue! That's why I said C. afra of those 2 variants specifically. BTW blue, your comments 5 posts back were very appropriate.

Your all completely correct. 100% :( i feel like a complete..... jerk..... about this all. I am so sorry. I am just going to go with a community tank. Again, I am so sorry. I am still trying to learn and I guess my 13yr. old ways/conscience got in the way of logical thinking. I am really just so sorry! I feel really bad now! I hope you all will except my apologies!

Your OK Guppyman thats what we are here for in to aid hobbyist who may need some help trial and error will play a major role in your fishkeeping abilities BTW Africans are Mbuna, Tanganyika and Victorian just different lakes but still Africans..

I have 3 29gal tanks setup two are African Tanganyika shell dweller setups and the third is a fry setup for Eureka red fry which is an African Malawi peacock fish..

Please come back when you need info some hobbyist do get a little disturbed at times for repetitive questions but if you need help we will try to help you my fellow young hobbyist..
