29g Planted

Most heaters of that general shape are, it seems. Usually, the only question is whether or not you can mount it horizontally. If the heater has any kind of auto shut off mechanism to prevent it from running while not in the water, those sensors are in the top and catch the rising (literally) temperature. If you mount the heater horizontally, the sensor will never trip. Of course, if you want to install the heater horizontally, the obvious solution is to mount the heater low in the tank, so it's never exposed to air.

Not a lot of algae but cleaned glass anyway. Plants appear to be doing well.
Description of set-up:
Aqueon Expandable LED w/1 extra Day Bulb, SunSun 302 Canister Filter, Top Fin 150w Heater, Regent Power Head. Plants are; Bacopa caroliniana, Amazon Sword sp., and Java Fern. API CO2 Booster, Leaf Zone, and Root Tabs for fertilization. FloraMax for substrate. I'm considering additional plants but not sure what to get. Not adding any more fish right now as I'm still working on the final stock list.

It looks nice but IMO i feel like front of the tank is empty. Have you though about adding any small plants in the front ?

I'm thinking about putting Anubias nana attached to lava rock around the right side of the driftwood and a Banana plant on the left. As for front and center, I don't know. As you can tell I'm in no rush. Funds are tight with my son just starting college and overtime has been cut back on the job. Anyway, I research dwarf hair grass and pigmy swords but I read they require high lighting. I still may give one of those a try.

In my experience DHG doesn't need high light, it just doesn't spread as well and may look a little scragglier. I've also done dwarf sag as a "carpet" in lower tech tanks and it does very well. Certain Marsilea are supposedly ok carpets under low light but never tried them myself.

I added 3 Anubias, everything else is growing fine. I also have a cleanup crew; 3 Otos and 5 Ghost Shrimp. I had some brown spots on the Amazon Sword and the Otos took care of that in one night. The shrimp have found places to hide so they're not readily seen. I think I'll get 5 more, I want to see at least 1 when I look at the tank instead of hunting for them. Here's the latest pic.
