29G Shrimp Tank

Nope, from CA! I talked about modifying the spraybar but haven't yet, thinking about something different than my first plan.
Wow, is it coming from CA, or did it take the scenic route? That's frustrating! Years ago I visited some relatives in Missouri, and of course sent a letter home. Got home after 2 weeks, and my mom asked why I didn't write. 2 weeks later my letter finally made it to CA, by way of Florida.
I don't know who watches my fish more, me or the cats. LOL! My sister and I call it HDFV - High Definition Fish Vision.

I filed a claim and within hours it was suddenly moving and at my house the next day! (today) Hmm? He sent it 1st class in a padded envelope in a plastic baggie with water not a wet paper towel. 
It was leaking, maybe that's why it was delayed? But usually they mark it when that happens or wrap it in a bag so I don't know! It seems to be just fine though, even found a tiny red/pink plantlet that looked perfectly healthy.
It was supposed to be christmas and weeping moss but I only found christmas and fissidens, oh and quite a bit of BBA (hopefully the blackout of traveling damaged it enough cause I don't want to dip the moss after it's long trip). It IS hard to tell weeping and christmas apart when not in a growing state so maybe there is some in there, gonna just plant it all together and see what happens!
Today and tomorrow it's gonna be 76F so we will see when I pull the wood for mossing. lol Enjoy the nice weather if you're getting it!

Las Vegas here, it was in the 80s last week. Oh joy, summer already, but then we got a "cold snap" that dropped into the 50s.
I battled blue-green algae and BBA when I lived in San Diego, and battled it again when I was staying with my sister in Vegas before moving into my own place. I found live plants helped out a lot to eradicate it. I do have a little algae in my filter right now, but none that I can find in my tank. I did traumatized my Christmas moss when I dismantled the floating ball and tied it the wood, but it promptly bounced back and took off like wildfire.

Marimo balls do that, they spread! But they are pretty and spread slowly (they are actually a type of algae!)Unfortunately I realized that I will never be able to recreate the slope and exact heights of the rocks that I have in the tank to be able to scape the wood outside of the tank which means I had to do it IN the tank which means I could have done it before I had the moss.
Drained the tank down half way and got all the main pieces zip-tied WELL. Got done enough for this round, filled it back up and the D@#! filter won't restart, it hums but doesn't push any water! I have more trouble with ehiems than any other canister (only have filstar and fluval to compare TBH). SOOO frustrated, I don't even know what I wanna do about it, besides throw it out the window! lol Since there is no bacteria in the eheim I will just thrown my surface skimmer HOB on there for now. Once the water gases out and clears I WILL share pictures, I need opinions of the wood.
Maybe you can take the wood & moss outside for tying & enjoyng the warmth. I've had java moss almost dry out & still come back to life. (as usual, you're typing while I'm trying to).
I HATE to have to clean my @*&%# filter impeller if I shut it off for 30 seconds, HOB or canister.
I've never zip-tied plants, I need to see how it works for you!

Been up since 4am this is all I could do tonight. More little pieces to go in and a few are not secured yet. Excuse the random plants please.
1st option. I swear it's not purple lol
2nd Option. Felt like the right needed more wood but couldn't figure out how to incorporate more without mimicking or out right overlapping. The top piece (that was moved for this option) would be a bit higher/arched cause it is just laying there for the picture now.
My poor crypts. the ones to the right is where the highest flow was. There is one behind these guys that has ONE leaf.

As usual! lol I will have to take it apart and clean it. ugh! I am not zip-tying the plants just the wood to itself. It is so nice and sturdy now, I love it! I bump it constantly while I am in there, a bit clumsy I am, and now it doesn't all fall down. lol
