30 Gallon Hillstream Tank Build

OOO hehe my bad....now Im working on modifying the hillstream design I have from the loach website with the matten filter...It should be quite awesome...where do you find the coarse filter btw?

That is a very nice set up - can't wait to see it w/all the new inhabitants. It is so clear that at first I thought it was empty, waiting for water - Keep us posted.

You're telling me! I've only had this tank running for 10 days now, but it's been much longer since I started the build, and 7 months since I first decided to use these stones this way... I CAN'T WAIT to see the stiphodon in there... and I really hope they like it and thrive, it was a lot of work just to see if they do.

The hard part is that the stiphodon finally seem to be settled into their current tank... and have been getting along so much better. The idea of moving them is a little scary to me, especially because they're such great fish and so hard to replace.

Guess we'll know in about a week or so. I'm going to let the algae keep growing and continue to seed the tank with good stuff.

holy cow that looks awesome. The scale you chose for substrate and rocks makes it impossible to tell if its a small tank or a large. It looks really clean and absolutely fantastic!!
