Pretty much anything with fins longer than 1/2 an inch. Why are you set on tiger barbs? There are barbs that would work and look similar.

Rosy and cherry are good but i need to know what kind of look you're going for.
 
Five band barbs? I have seen people successfully keeping tiger barbs with gourami's, the trick is to get a large school of tiger barbs, just 5,6,7,8 isn't a school...

I agree. A school of 12+ is recommended. Your also limited on the type of gourami you have. Ive keep them with an opaline gourami before.

Now are there any other tetras/rasboras you want? I like to narrow it down to 2-4 and then do lots more research from there. I like emperor tetras and kerri tetras a lot

With the BA tetras? Maybe. I, personally, like one big school of something rather tank two different schools. I thank that the TBs the middle of the tank may end up over crowding the BAs

If I just keep the BA tetras as one school what other fish could I keep singularly or in pairs/threes
