So I got a few plants......
That Tupperware is packed with P.***i! So I am looking at all stem/floating plants to start and the stump/root wood layout (#2) is a very low layout. Sorry to disappoint everyone but I want to go with something similar to #1 from my most recent options. I do not want a strong sculpted layout, I am looking for a lush jungle right now, just lots of healthy satisfying plants! I would like to do the stump layout is the future though & I know I will end up rescaping the tank many times!!
I did however find the rest of my wood today (I knew I had more hiding somewhere!) and immediately threw it into my grow out tank to starting soaking so I may come up with more wood options.
I also scored an inline reactor with heater & 6 WCMMs from Starstruck, woohoo! I tried to slip her 75g glasscages shappire tank into my bucket too but it didn't work out.

New Reactor (2" PVC with 3/4" hose barbs)
My reactor just cause I have a picture of it! (1.5" PVC with 1/2" hose barbs)
I also ordered some dosing spoons, finally! $4.62 shipped, can't beat that! They won't be here for about 10 days but I probably won't setup the tank until after the 28th anyways.
Things I am thinking about:
1. What filter to get - I am going crazy with this one! 10x turnover is recommended for planted tanks but nothing is 450gph for one thing, it is a ridculous amont of money & that's a LOT of flow! I think 350-375gph would be fine.
2. I have $144 in store credit for absolutely fish which is 1hr away from me that expires at the end of august but they don't sell any upgrades I want! And everything is SO much more expensive than I can get it online.

What to overpay for to burn $144??? Maybe they have a 36" 78 watt T5HO fixture....I'll check tomorrow.
I was seriously debating saving up for Aquasoil before setting up the tank but decided I am too much of a DIYer to not try the MTS and go right for the fancy expensive stuff. Worst case scenario the MTS is horribly messy and I have to rescape the tank later....oh no!
