Sand, pea gravel, and large pebbles for substrate once the tank is up and running for a while. Initially, it'll have no substrate until I'm satisfied that it is leak free.
All the substrate from the 210 will be used to seed the big tank.
Oh yeah, I've thought about that as long as I've thought about having a tank that I could literally "swim with the fishes." That being most of my life.
