4300 Gallon Plywood Build (3600+ Take 2)

That's some cool stuff there!

so how are you going to see in if its not acrylic? i coulda swore you were getting acrylic in

What? Dood, read the thread, there's a 50x99 piece of 2" acrylic sitting in the middle of the floor going into that big cutout you see in the pics.

The whole tank is not acrylic. A tank this size made solely of acrylic would probably be well over 50 grand.

that liquid rubber looks awsome certainly answerd some of my questions lol.

cant wait to see it up and running with some baby gigas in there

Man...I wish I hadn't seen that Liquid Rubber stuff...now I want to build a huge tank with it...
How about pricing for that stuff? It seems like it would be a bit pricey if it is in the initial patent stage...

I had my doubts about it at first but the 4 year old cardboard box and the puncture test really sealed the deal for me...

Nice work. It's coming along nicely, this time ;)

Thanks! I'm so excited about it. It's all coming together. Ken will be over to help starting next week, so I think I'll be ready to set the acrylic, finish the floor, and prep for coating about a week after that. Shooting for test fill on November 15th.
