46g Bowfront: The Reboot

Looks great :headbang2:

How do you get the wood to stay?
I was going to try your style on a smaller 10 gallon scale, but I do not know the art of wood placement.
Zip-Ties ?

Notice the 4-5" of flourite? The wood is all buried 4-6" since it's diagonal. I'll tell you, this is the first time I ever dry scaped. WAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY easier and it really came out just how I wanted it. I'm sold.

I was hoping you weren't going to say that. I tried doing that in my 2 1/2" of sand and there is no weight to hold it together without it falling over once it was bumped :headshake2: My shrimp tank has much less..
Fish looks happy :)

Really nice scaping! I love the wood placement.

I think I'll stop by and get 4 or 7 otos to throw in there tomorrow. I'm working on an Apisto pair to go in there, and thinking about some licorice gouramis.

The Otos are for sure. Not sure on either of the apisto, licorice gouramis, or both.

3 Apisto, 5 Gourami and 4 Oto's would be cool :perv:

Picked up four Otos and four Green Lace Licorice Gouramis (Parosphromenus Sintangensis) on Tuesday. They are still settling in. I'll take some shots tonight or tomorrow.
