48x20x24 / 300L stocking?

That list sounds like too many fish and a bad mix of fish. Where to begin............. the clown loaches will eat the apple snails, the angels once they are adults will likely eat the endlers, pencilfish, neons, guppies, and shrimp, the guppies and endlers will cross breed producing rather drab fry, there are other problems in this mix as well. Ameca splenens may be a hard fish to find and they are a bit on the aggressive side. The tank would also look very busy and overcrowded. 48x18x24 is what is usually sold here as a 90 gallon tank. 90 imperial gallons would be over 100 American gallons. I will give you 2 lists to try on for size, you decide and write back any questions or changes.
List 1:
Clown Pleco x 1
Clown Loaches x 3 at about 2 inches and be prepared to move when they get to about 4 or 5.
Dwarf Pencilfish x 8
Otocinclus Affinis x 4 or 6
Harlaquin Rasbora x 10
Albino Corrys x 6
Neon Tetras x 10

List 2:
Angelfish x 4 be prepared to seperate as adults if they pair up.
Clown Pleco x 1
Bristlenose Pleco x 1
Glowlight Dwarf Gourami x 4
Platy x 6 or 8 with maximum of 2 males
Albino Corrys x 6
Praecox rainbows x 6

This may seem lightly stocked to you but you will be happy with the looks and health of your fish. This is just my opinion but after over 20 years of fishkeeping this would be my recomendation. Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestions. A 'busy' looking tank is kinda what i want, i know that list would stock to the limits, but i'm prepared to swap and change around. I didnt know the Amec's where somewhat aggressive, so i'll leave them out. I think I will also (reluctantly ;) ) leave out the angels.

The way i work out the tanks fish capacity (the way I always have) is by lenghth x depth(back to front) / 10 (10 square inch or surface area for each 1" of fish) which gives me a total of 96" of fish for that tank, and as its also 2ft deep i think and will be over filtered, then I think 100" would be fine. So given the adjustments just made, do u think the rest would be ok?

Thanks

Well acording to that calculator my tank is 377.56 liters, when the manufacturer says its a 300 liter...hmmm i will just measure the amount of water when i fill it...simple

now back to the fish... :D

what the heck is going on here?

a tank 48x24x20 is a 100 gallon tank (US gallons)

Its a 85 in UK gallons, or 377 liters.

lol madness........now the fish!!! how about :

Clown Pleco x 1
Clown Loaches x 2
Otocinclus Affinis x 5
Bristlenose Pleco x 1
Albino Corrys x 4
Endler's Livebearer x 4
Platy x 4
Guppys x 6
Glowlight Dwarf Gourami x 2
Dwarf Pencilfish x 4
Harlaquin Rasbora x 8
Neon Tetras x 10
Rummy Nose Tetra x 6

csmaster, that sounds better except I would not mix the endlers and guppies. These are really one in the same fish and will interbreed freely. If you do not care about the fry then this is not a problem. The cories would be a little happier with 6 as would the pencilfish. That is still going to be a full tank and you will need to keep on top of the water changes. Other then that sounds okay.
