10 gallon tanks are pretty cheap you can get them for 5.99 at walmart

vb, this price quote is grossly inaccurate. I purchased one last fall (as a kit with filter, hood, and lights) for 29.99. A 10g glass aquarium, with nothing else, is 9.99. Walmart prices are fairly standard across the US, at least. Please don't recommend things to folks unless you are certain of the information. Thanks.

petco has them for 9.99, ive seen them in local petstores for even 7.99
